What are Fruit Tisanes Teas?
Hi, I'm Nelson Drago with Chado Tea Room in Los Angeles on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we will be talking about fruit tisanes. Yes. What are fruit tisanes? Tisanes means a blend of hibiscus with different kinds of berries together. They are excellent when served on ice or hot for breakfast. Some of our famous fruit tisanes would be like Paradise which is a mixture of rose hips, papaya, pineapple, orange peel together and that's called Paradise. The other fruit tisane which would be popular would be our Hawaiian Cocktail. Again a little bit different from Paradise because this has hibiscus, rose hips, pineapple, orange. Our other flavor one would be another fruit tisane would be Christmas Brew. Yes, it's the wrong time of the year but it sells all around the year. It's with appriocot, cinnamon, papaya, rose hips and orange peel in it. Excellent when served iced or hot. One more thing, with these fruit tisanes you can't add milk because milk doesn't go very well with hibiscus or any of the other berries. But please make sure when you drink any fruit tisanes you rather have it hot, straight or iced, although they're quiet tart and a little bit sour. So it depends what kind of fruit tisane you choose and it's very good for summer splash drinks.
