How to Store Tea
Hi, I'm Nelson Drago with Chado Tea Room in Los Angeles on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we are going to talk about how to store tea, tea accessories and tea canisters. The best way to store tea is in a can. The shelf life of tea could be somewhere between 6 months to a year and if you keep it in a tin it's even better because it stores for a longer time. It also depends on how often you open and close your can. So these are some different cans over here which we have. There are some air tight cans, you just have to pick the one you like, the one that suits you. These are our new selection of cans which we have right here. Especially have some of them which are air tight. But or mostly commonly cans which I use at the Chado which are easy to use and easy to access to take out our tea. Another tea regular accessory would be electric tea kettles. Our electric tea kettles which you can use to boil water and it stops automatically when the temperature is about 211 or 212. So you really don't have to worry about switching it off, it has automatic on and off switch in it, so it continuously boils water for your tea.
