How to Make Window Treatments for a Victorian Home

Hi, I'm Betty Ingham and I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village. Even though we did most of the work in this house ourselves we were on a limited budget because of what we had to do. It was just so massive because we had to replace floors and walls and fireplaces and what not. So what we did, I did was I went the cheapest route I could do with window treatments. I made them myself and I got this material from a mill that was selling seconds on bolts this material is Levi material or jeans material before they dyed it. I just cut off the holes in the bolts and I made my window treatments out of those I got some of the frendge and the curtain wraps very, very cheap at a store when they were half price. I got panels to defuse the lights and I just wrapped up material over the Victorian curtain rod and made me a little valance for that.
