Adding Italian Bruschetta To Toast

Hi! Welcome back, Expert Village here and Anne Apra Catering. I've got a delicious bruschetta that we would like to check on while our bread is grilling. It's got beautiful ripe tomatoes, garlic, basil, lots and lots of garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. It's delicious. Let's go check our bread. Oh look at that beautiful grill marks. Wow! These are perfect. Gorgeous, nice and toasty. I don't mind a little burn mark on them because I think that is awfully fun. It just adds to the authenticness of being out in a grill. Look at that, beautiful. Than one may be a little too much but I've got a trick to fix that and I'll show you that in just a minute. Gorgeous! Okay very nice. Let cook just a little more. Okay very good. While the rest of these is cooking, I want to show you a fun secret that is very authentic. One sec. I take a piece of garlic already peeled and I am going to take it on top of the toasted bread, scrape it up against it and you are going to get the beautiful flavor of infused garlic soaking into that wonderful olive oil in that fresh bread. On top of that, mounds of gorgeous fresh bruschetta. Look at that! Isn't that gorgeous. Now to finish that, I might toss on some fresh shaved Parmesan or I might add some cracked pepper to make it look pretty when I cater and I decide to do a trade pass, but for your guest give them a piece of garlic, give them a piece of bread and have them scrape away with the gorgeous flavor and the smells. You won't believe what it smells like. I wish you could smell it. You top on a little of that and that's a meal right there. That is my starter and there is more to come. Anne Apra with Expert Village.
