Hello my name is James Colonna from Cherry Hills Studios on behalf of Expert Village. In this next clip we're going to talk about polyrhytms 4 over 3 polyrhythms utilizing accents. A 4 over 3 polyrhythm is using 4 notes in one hand and 3 notes on the other hand your playing a group of 4 over a group of 3 it's over the same measure over the same beat, how ever you need to think about it so what I'm going to do I'm going to play the 4 in my right hand and I'm going to play 3 in my left hand, I'm going to accent my right hand in groups of 3. And I will accent the 3 in my left hand in groups of 2. (drumming) That was an example of 4 over 3 polyrhythm utilizing accents.
