How to Do the 3 Over 2 Motion on Drums

Hello my name is James Colonna from Cherry Hills Studios on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we'll be talking about the 3 over 2 polyrhythm utilizing motions with no accents. The 3 over 2 polyrhythm is what it is your playing 3 notes in 1 hand while playing 2 notes in the other hand over the same course of time, over the same measure. And I'm going to do I'm going to move the 3 which will be on my right hand in groups of 2 and I will move my left hand which is the 2 and I'll move it in groups of 3. (drumming) That was an example of 3 over 2 polyrhythm using motions very very nice thing to know and learn when your trying to get better at drum set.
