How to Paint a Logo on a Window Mural
On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Carolyn Travisano and I'm here to show you about window murals. So I'm going to start laying down some of the colors on the outside and I like to work left to right so I'm not smearing any paint across the logo. I started laying these down because I needed to get those dried so I can put a second coat on. So we're going to go in, again be careful of where you rest your hand and we're just going to start filling in the logo. It's okay to go over the black lines cause again later we're going to go in and fill that in, darken those up. So I'm actually going to get a smaller brush. This is a small one, this will work very nicely. I'm just laying in this color here which is basically the terra cotta that we mixed earlier and you can kind of be a little bit sloppy only cause you'll, again go back later and fill it in and straighten out the black lines. But for efficiency and time you can just go rather quickly and make a mess. Also with this color we're doing the red rocks, so we'll go back in and finish the red rocks up here. In the color pallet that I chose for the front windows reflects the colors in the restaurant and so eventually that the restaurant we picked out a color pallet would be these nice little terra cottas, sun, burnt sienna espresso and a little bit of gold so that's why the pallet is the way that it is on the window here.
