How to Prepare a Window for Mural Painting
On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Carolyn Travisano here to tell you about window murals. So right now we're just basically prepping the window. We have to make sure that it is nice and clean so the paint will stick and adhear to the glass. Depending on whether they want the illustration or the mural, the window mural to be permanent or not depends on how you prepare your paint. If it's going to be just a temporary kind of like for sale or advertising a special event, you can add some soap into your paint which will make it really easy to come off the window. If not then you can just use a regular household acrylic paint that makes it last a nice long time and it also is light fad so the sun won't fade it out. So we continue to clean the windows and make sure they're nice and clean for the paint. Also what would happen if it's not clean enough if there's any grease or oil on the window the paint will peel or crack which won't make a very happy customer. So okay the windows are all prepped and ready.
