Books for Collecting Blue & White China

So when talking about collecting historical blue resources for this type of tableware I would suggest that you will try to acquire some books or search out some books that's specific about historical blue. Some books that I just have here this Country American price guide is a really nice examples of it inside of historical blue, a little brief history on what time period and talking about price ranges. But it doesn't give you a lot of pictures to look at so I would suggest that you, another book here that you could it's a general book Schroeder's is a book that has general basic small little bits and pieces about it. So if you're starting and it's inexpensive book it's a great book to start with then you can get into more specific books that are written just for historical blue I don't have a historical blue book here, but one of the examples of a good book to buy that's specific to what you're collecting. This flow blue same period but different type of porcelain. If you're going out you can find a specifically historical book to collect so that would be another reference for books. Your library is a good source for historical blue you might have to ask them to search out the books for you, buying on the internet is another great source for resources for books. I would highly recommend if you're going to collect this type of tableware that you do a little bit of reading and some homework and try to get a good grasp for what's available out there and the price range. Because this particular kind of tableware can be very expensive.
