when collecting this historical blue your going to see a number different shapes one of the more abundant shape you'll see are in the plate forms. With the events and political scenes like you can see here this is another scene that you'll see on here but this is a really about a standard size that you'll find a lot of. You'll find a plate variation and size going anywhere from a cup plate which I don't have that example of but a cup plate is about the size of the inside of this plate, it's a cup size plate. You'll find that size all the way up to platters this is a small platter but you'll find them up to 14, 15" platters in historical blue which are almost very expensive to buy so, you'll find a wide range these shapes in plate size, anywhere from $"-10" it's pretty standard. Then you'll also find these handless cups which this should have a saucer but don't have one to show you an example to show you today but this is the cup and you'll find a cup plate that went with it. Pretty standard you'll find a lot of these out there in various conditions and then also you'll find a lot of the pitchers and bowls, milk pitchers, creamers, and pitcher bowl sets in historical blue. This is just one size that we have to show you today but there's a variety of sizes and shapes and patterns with events or political scenes on them so that's another source of collecting. You'll find the teapots in varying sizes you can see 2 sizes here this is a fairly large about the largest size your going to find in the teapot, but you can also find singles. Somewhere in this size varies somewhere in between these to you'll also find sugar bowls they should have lids on them this is very typical of a lid that would fit on here. Very similar to this so that would be what you'll look for in the sugar bowls, large size different patterns and these are some of the large of majority you'll find the platters similar to this one in varying sizes. Up to the meat size platter and sauce size is probably the smallest probably 4-6" and then you'll find also another shape is a vegetable platter you'll find this size vegetable platter during this period, this one around 1830-1850's and all the other transferwares to. It will have a meat platter that is very similar in size and you can see the side this vegetable bowl very common and you'll find a lot, there's an abundance out there to find in the historical blue.
