Should I Restore My Damaged Blue & White China?

When collecting this historical blue it's interesting because you come across pieces that don't look like there salvageable or there pieces that you look at and say you can't throw this away because it's just to beautiful of a piece. This is one of the pieces I found in an attic in a small town in my area that was needed restoration and by looking at it you can hardly tell where the rest of the restoration occurred but I can show you some the detail. It's expensive to do but when your looking at a pot this size and the age of this pot it's well worth doing. Restoration can be expensive this pot was probably around 200 to repair I'm trying to remember but I don't know exactly $200 to repair and when I went into the attic it was stored in a box and when you opened up the box it was laying flat on it's side and one side looked perfectly clean the way your looking at it here and when you turned it over there was hole literally a hole right in the center of this teapot. So this is what that was repaired you can see a little bit of discoloration just on the glaze but to look at this pot and turn it around to the other side if you look at this side really closely with cows and the trees in the house in background with this young women. And when you turn it around you can see the same pattern it's restored almost to identical to the front side. Which it takes a professional who knows really knows about this porcelain and how to restore it so this is a good example of what this should be restored.
