Patterns in Majolica Pottery

So collecting different patterns this is a good example of a crushing pattern and I have a few examples I can show you here today. This is the seaweed pattern and it usually seaweed in coral and you'll see a lot of the same motif in different shapes. This is like a bread size plate, this is what they consider a cake plate, very desirable a lot of detail in it too, you can see a lot of the stray's all the way through. These are suppose to look like the shapes of seaweed and almost like cauliflower pattern on it, so it's all seaweed patterns to it. This one too you can see the coral and here on here you can see in the pitcher this is a crushing also same marks you see the seaweed shells here with the coral coming through on the bottom, and coral coming through on the top. The same motif you'll see with either a light green or a light pink on the inside so those are some examples of a crushing pattern.
