Colors in Majolica Pottery

So looking at majolica is has very distinct color it's one of these collections that you either like or you hate some people really enjoy this high leaf with a lot of color to it. Other people think it's a little overwhelming this is particular piece of seaweed pattern very highly sawed after great colors I think. A nice range of pinks and green with brown and almost a teal blue in it with some yellow in the center. The colors are really incredible and the back side you can see it almost like a brownish wash that they put over it. This is much a deeper color than this both put out by the Crushing you can see the mark on the back but they make a whole set of tableware in this pattern. It's a really pretty color I think very easy to look at and then you can see there's a wide ranges of yellow to use in the pattern here. Yellow and green is a really strong theme of color used with outdoor theme of green whatever it is if it's leafs or corn stock or this one here is grape of vine leaves here with a brown. Here you can see here in the compo the same type of leaf with leafs and we have the fern and a large grape leaf with the flower pattern, it's all that same earthy colors yellow, green and brown. Then you'll see pale pinks with another shell pattern this is a Crushing again which shows you the outside of the shell with the seaweed. It's all that same pink, brown and green you'll see that throughout a lot of these patterns that I have for you today. Even though there's a large range of colors you'll see in the reds and blues also but this teal blue is also very popular this color. You'll see that in a lot of different patterns in pitchers and plates, cups and saucers, teapots this whole range you'll find in these types of patterns. So that's a little bit of the color that you'll experience when you collect majolica.
