How to Fix a Stuck Door
If your door is stuck because it’s rubbing against the door frame along the edges, it’s a pretty easy fix if you have a power plainer. And even if you don’t, you can use a hand plainer; it just takes a little more elbow grease.

So what you want to do is identify where it’s rubbing. In this case, it’s a little bit on this side, but it’s mainly along the top there. So we’re going to get set up. Adjust my plainer so that I’m taking off, oh, probably just 1/32nd of an inch. You’re going to make a few passes, but not take too much off. And then it’s just a matter of having a steady hand and a smooth motion. And, if you’re lucky, you’ll get it right on the first time. There it is.
