How to Exfoliate Ankles

Hi my name is Anton and I’m here on behalf of ExpertVillage.com and today I’m going to be demonstrating exfoliating the feet specifically the tops of the feet and the ankles. I’m just going to use a generic salt scrub, you can use either a salt or a sugar scrub, products like this are available at any beauty supply store or any major store that sales beauty products. I’m just going to work it in a circular motion just to exfoliate any dead skin off the top of the feet and the feet probably take more abuse than any other part of the body because we walk on them and they are in shoes all the time and this is one of the places where you’re going to find the most dead skin on the body. So you can use a little more pressure and just apply in a little more abrasive way and work in a circular motion just to remove all of the dead skin. You can focus on the ankle and the top of the foot just to really remove any dead skin. The best place to do this is probably in the shower just because the skin is going to be a lot softer and the dead skin is going to come off a lot more easily, but you can do it outside as well, as long as you just wash it off with cool water and use a moisturizer afterwards to protect the skin.
