On behalf of exepertvillage.com, I'm Eric Williams, I'm here to tell you about the tuba. Okay, so we learned the notes on the B flat scale and fingering for the tuba, I think it would be great to see what it looks like on manuscript paper in the bass clef because the tuba is definitely base instrument. Up here is a picture of the bass clef and the notes that are on the bass clef. Now, this does not have the flats that we need, but that's okay. What we are going for are the number names. We have B, which is the second line up on the bass clef, if we put a flat in front of that, that would give us a B flat. So, we have B flat, C, D, an E flat, F, G, A and the very top note would be a B flat which, would sit right on of the staff and have a flat in front of it. So, then you have a B flat, A, G, F, E flat, D, C and then flat the B for B flat. So, that's what those notes would actually look like on paper as your hearing them on the tuba.
