How to Mold Greek Falafel Patties

Hello my name is J and I'm talking on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to add my garlic powder. As far as garlic powder goes you just want to eyeball it. There is a lot of stuff in there and you want to add a good amount of garlic powder. I will say that was a equivalent of about 2 teaspoons. Turmeric about 1/2 of the garlic powder you added, cumin same thing about 1/2 of garlic about 1 teaspoon and paprika you could do the same amount of paprika as you did garlic powder. Mix all your seasoning in there pretty good now remember guys this is my receipt there is a million of different ways to make falafel in fact there is already premade falafel that you can buy at the store. Whatever suits your needs you can make it like me and switch out ingredients or add ingredients this is just your basic falafel I'm just showing you how to do a real basic falafel here. As you can see we got a good consistency here you want it to be able to stick to your fork just like that. As you can see it comes on in big mounds that is perfect and that is it for adding your seasoning to your falafel. What I do is get a small amount just like that and what I like to do is just kind of work it together into a ball and then I press it down. I like to make patties people do this in ball usually but since I'm not using a deep fryer it is easier for me just to do this and make patties. Now if your falafel is not sticking together you can add a little bit more bread crumbs and bread crumbs would make it stick. Now to make one falafel sandwich what you need is about 3 good size patties just like that and that is it for molding your falafel.
