Basketball Warm-ups & Stretches: Part 1

Hello my name is Donaill Dixon and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be talking about beginning basketball. The first two stretches we're going to be doing during our basketball training would be the jumping jacks which you want to do 3 sets of 15 and also you want to do a stretch which you're going to be stretching our your groin. When you're doing the jumping jacks these are good because they're good for doing defenses, they're good for stretching out your shot and they're also good for when you're running the floor. Your groin is also good because if you don't stretch your groin you can severally hurt yourself, not just temporarily but permanent because you're going to be doing a lot of running and a lot of conditioning while playing basketball.
