Weak Hand Basketball Dribbling Drill

Hello my name is Donaill Dixon and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be talking about beginning basketball. Another drill that we're going to be doing is going to be very stressful when playing basketball and that's called working your weak hand dribbling. Not as far as dribbling you're going to be finishing with your left hand doing everything with your weak hand or with your right hand. If you're right handed you're going to be working with your left hand and if you're left handed you're going to be working with your right hand. You're going to take your strong hand and put your strong hand behind your back and whether you're right handed you put your right hand behind your back and if you're left handed you going to not use nothing left handed you're going to use nothing but the right hand to finish it. This is good because there's going to be a lot of teams that they're going to know that you're right handed and so they're not going to be used to you finishing with your left hand. So when you finish with your left hand it's going to create a whole lot of points for you, because he's going to be playing you to your strong hand and this also is good if you're going to the foul line or you're trying to get to the foul line, it's going to create a lot of contact because he's going to be assuming that you're going to be using your strong hand. But in reality you're going to be doing a whole lot of drills, it's going to prepare you for using your weak hand so when you're going through the rigorous of a game you can use any other hand in your game and it's going to really help your scoring overall.
