Basketball Defense Tips

Hello my name is Donaill Dixon and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be talking about beginning basketball. Now I'm going to be talking about defense. Defense is basically keeping your offensive player from scoring the basketball. Now when playing defense you always want to make sure you never keep your eyes on the ball when playing a defended one on one. You want to make sure that you keep your eyes on his waist because if you think about it he can't go no where without his waist and you're making sure when you play defense you always have one hand up. The reason why I say one hand up is it keeps him from giving a clear vision as far as scoring. You want to make sure your right leg is in front of your left leg or your left leg is in front of your right leg when playing good defense. Also when you're playing defense you want to make sure that you're very aware of what's going on around you when you're playing defense.
