Nighttime Makeup for the Lips

Hi my name is Anton and I’m here on behalf of ExpertVillage.com and today I’m going to demonstrate how to change a day lip into night. Now what I’m going to use is this lightish purplish-brownish tone. And this is great because it’s a blend of warm and cool tones, so you’re going to find both yellow and pink tones in this color. So I’m just going to go over the color she already has on which is more of like a prime basic color for her lip coloring because she’s got a little bit of both of those warm and cool tones. So I’m just going to have the same lip look for before then I’m just adding a little bit of color on top of it. It’s a great way to take a day look and kind of transform it into a night look without having to change your makeup. I’m just applying it with a lip brush because it gets a much more sheer application and it goes on a lot more smoothly and your chances of it coming off sooner are much less because it’s being applied without any oil. Typically when people blend lip color in with their fingers or with their hands in any way the oil tends to break up the product much sooner so when you gently apply it with a brush, it stays on much longer and it keeps the undertone of skin a lot more natural and a lot more true. This isn’t going to change to anything else, it’s not going to match your skin tone, and it’s going to stay looking really neutral and true to what it was.
