In this clip we're going to talk about tenting the ribs basically that is just taking some tent foil and wrapping them up and letting them cook. The ribs have been on the smoker for another couple of hours during that time we've wet mopped them several times and now we're going to take the tent foil and wrap them up. The reason we like to wrap up ribs in tent foil is to allow them to cook and get that meat fall off the bone texture that everybody likes. You can use regular tent foil, heavy duty tent foil it really doesn't matter, just wrap it up fold it over. I like to wrap it up with 2 pieces get it nice and tight so it'll cook in it's own juices. And we'll leave this on for another maybe an hour to 2 hours you can also wrap them up in tent foil and bring them into the house. That might be a great idea in the middle of winter when it's freezing out. Now that the ribs have been cooking in the tent foil for a couple hours I'm going to untent them and let them cook for another hour and that will develop a really nice crust on the ribs and you'll be ready to eat.
