How to Draw a Tribal Henna Tattoo
Hello this is Heather for Expert Village and we've been mostly doing some traditional henna designs in this series, but often people just want a henna design that looks like a temporary tattoo and that's actually what a lot of many artists do. So I figured I would show you how to do a tattoo style design. We're going to do kind of tribal swirly thing on Dez's arm here. Start with the bigger elements of it, so a swirl. With these kind of tribal designs you just want to kind of do the outlines first and you can fill in after. I'll do some spiny things coming off of the side and we're just filling in. With these tribal designs the paste actually goes on pretty thick and for that reason they tend to be nice and dark even on areas that don't take the henna quiet as well. The henna usually last best on hands or feet, but if you do a bolder design like this somewhere where the henna might not last as well on the arm or something, then it will actually come out quiet nice. Just going to fill in with some dots, probably connect this and add in a few more spikes. Continue the dots and we're done.
