Locksmith Key-Making Tools

On behalf of expertvillage.com, I’m Jim Koch and today we’re talking about auto lockouts. In this clip we’re going to show you basically the van that I use and the equipment that’s in it. There’s several different configurations depending on how the locksmith feels he wants to set his up, I use a what’s considered a miniature setup, it’s all contained right here in the back, every tool I need and the big difference is whether you climb in and sit down or you stand behind your van. I prefer this because it allows me a little more room to work with as far as the rest of the van, it can still carry my family and that kind of thing. A few of the tools that we carry in here, it's basically a work bench, we’ve got a key duplicator, we’ve got a code machine, which allows me to cut keys by code, which is especially helpful when you lock or lose your keys or you lock your keys in a vehicle that’s not openenable, you know, via the conventional methods of opening a vehicle. We also carry some other tools and equipment, but for the most part the entire setup is right here in the back of the van and it allows me to keep the rest of the van open for other activities.
