Bristle Dog Grooming Brushes

Another type of brush that you might want to consider using is the bristle brush. There's a number of different kinds of bristles brushes that you can use. I've got an example of 3 different kinds here. This is a synthetic bristle brush. You can see that the bristles are in clumps so there's many different size bristles in each clump. Each clump is imbedded in a cushion base. Again, this is a synthetic bristle brush. The bristles are synthetic; they're plastic. This is a great finishing brush. Once you have the dog completely brushed out, you've used your pin brushes, your slicker brushes. You've got your dog completely brushed out. Great finishing tool. Another type is a combination of synthetic and real natural bore bristle. Let me get some of this hair out of here so you can see. You can see there’s clumps of natural bore bristle. Black is natural bore bristle. And sticking out of each clump is a white plastic core bristle. This brush you can see is fairly large oval and the bristles are all quite close together. It has many, many clumps. If you compare this to these, you can see that it's much dispenser. This has god denser bristles and it's also in a padded base. Lightweight brush, comfortable in the hand. Again, excellent finishing brush. This is the brush you would use when your dog is all brushed through. Great maintenance brush. If you've got a coated breed, you're probably going to want to brush them a couple times a week to maintain the coat. If they're brushed though, then this is the kind of brush that you can use.
