One thing you want to think about when walking your dog in the woods especially early spring or late fall is that risk of fleas and ticks. For your dog especially ticks in the woods there you can pick up pretty easily and not even know you have them and there plenty of tick born illnesses that you would to protect your dog from getting. So there's a couple of different products this one is a topical product that you put on the your dog is kills fleas, ticks, and mosquito's if you don't want to use something that's the chemical toxics and there's also different products you can use is this one is a natural flea and tick spray and it's the main ingredient on this one is neem, neem oil, lets see, yup this neem this one is a great one to use on your dogs, you can also spray this on yourself. So before you go into the woods if you use a topical product these one's last about a month and there also water proof so if your dog goes swimming in the woods your usually okay with that. If your going to be using a natural herbal one then you probably going to want to put an application each time you go into the woods, just to make sure your dog is safe from fleas, ticks, and mosquito's and other bitting insects.
