How to Increase Finger Dexterity for Trumpet Playing
It’s important to develop finger dexterity when you’re playing the trumpet. There are a number of books out there that can help you, including the Herbert Al Clark series, Allen Vizzutti has got a wonderful series out there as well and most recently Anthony Plog has come out with a series of books that will work on finger dexterity. Some of the exercises that you would use could include some from the Clark series. Keeping your fingers on top of the button and playing it with a nice even sound will give you the greatest benefit.
