Washing Dishes in an Eco Friendly Home

Another way that you can conserve water when washing dishes is to actually fill one side of the sink with a small amount of water, so you have a limited amount so that you are not running the water as you are rinsing. And you can wash the exact same way you did before. Or you soap up your scrubber and you wash, say for instances the cup, and then what you can do is just rinse it off in a limited amount of water. Then just put it up there to dry and go on to the next one and rinse it off. Because generally you really don't need a whole lot of water to rinse. And then basically, chances are you won't have that many dishes to do and so you are use a very limited amount of water not only to wash but to rinse, rinse your dishes off. So that is one way to conserve water when washing your dishes.
