Okay, so Ann, this is one item I had in my bag to recycle. And, I have no idea, should I throw this in the regular trash can? Uh huh. You tell me. Well, this is actually an inkjet cartridge and there are toner cartridges which are bigger that are similar to these. Definitely don't throw them away. They shouldn't go in the trash can at all. There are actually a lot of options out there for reusing the inkjet cartridges and refilling them, as well as, recycling them. So, from a refilling stand point, what you can do is, there are a lot of kits out there that you can get at the office supply stores that actually will allow you to recharge some of them. There are some companies now, some franchised organizations and store fronts that actually will take these and refill them for you. Some of Walgreen's and different folks like that will actually do that in their stores too. So, you don't have to go out and buy them. You can save a lot of money basically by refilling them. If for some reason they're broken or you don't think that they're working properly in your machine, the next thing would be to recycle them. There are a couple of different options that you can do. Some of the office supply chains, meaning stores like Staples and Office Max, they actually take back these for recycling. So, you can drop them off which is really convenient because chances are you're going to be there buying your recycled content products for your home office. But, what's nice is sometimes they will give you coupons or rebates back for dropping them off. Also, you can check earth911.org and find out if there is for example a organization or a school or a non-profit that is collecting these. My daughter's school actually takes these from the parents and they have an organization they work with to fund raise for the school. So, a lot of times, it's a great fund raiser for a pet welfare organization, a school, a non-profit. So, this is definitely a great product to reuse or recycle, not to put in the trash. Thank you.
