Cutting Green Onions For Creole Style Rice
This is Karl James owner of Creolesoul catering located in Round Rock, Texas and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you a creole style rice dish. Okay now we are going to cut up a little green onion and we are going to cut the white and green on both parts. We are actually going to use this to sprinkle on top after the dish is done so we are just making some just small slices around the stock on the green onion. Like I said we want the white and the green portion. Green onion or scallions they are also known well if you also want it you can use chop but we would just continue to cut this and like I said this is for sprinkling over the top of our rice after the dish comes out of the oven. There is a word for that what is it garnish. So anyway we get the green chopped up or cut up in here and it is green onion and so we will just run our knife through it and here we have a green onion.
