Importance of Wine Glasses
I’m Terry Thomas. I’m here on ExpertVillage.com to bring you a little about the appreciation of wine. You’ve noticed that we – and everybody knows basically a wine glass and you say why do we use those? Why wouldn’t we use a tumbler or whatever? And it’s not really a tradition, its not really some special etiquette or rule, but it was developed over the years to better enjoy the wine. And this wine glass is built to get everything out of the wine, all the enjoyment that you could possibly get. So now this wine is slightly curved inward and it actually is on a stem and apart of the reason for that is holding a wine such as this actually warms up the wine and actually diminishes some of the enjoyment with the wine.
