I’m Terry Thomas. I’m here on ExpertVillage.com to bring you a little about the appreciation of wine. As your wine tasting friends or group begins to really become, I’d say proficient with wine and you begin to really enjoy and know what you’re – understand what you’re enjoying, you know then you begin to look and say why am I enjoying this and what should I really look at. What would make a wine a great wine? So as you taste chardonnays over a period of time, then you begin to say this has certain characteristics, certain flavors and all chardonnays really should have most of these flavors. And if you get a chardonnay no matter what it might cost or whatever, it still needs to have these characteristics, these varietals – what we would call varietals character. If you had a Riesling it needs to – you need to be able to eventually – you could identify it without anyone telling you what it is because you can see the varietals character. It’s needing this varietals character which it definitely should.
