Hand Release Ninjutsu Techniques

ANTHONY LUCAS: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Anthony Lucas of the Bujinkan Koteki Dojo in New York City. Today, I am going to show beginning techniques of Ninjutsu. Okay the next three techniques we are going to do is for hand grab release. So [PH] Marian will come and she will grab my wrist with her left hand to set me up to punch, so as I am here naturally, when [PH] Marian comes to punch slowly, I will step off to the side and this sort of release the grip okay. So again from this angle here [PH] Marian--if she were to grab by her left hand she is setting up to punch. As she [SOUNDS LIKE] calls the punch, I will come in and step to the side and give the release of the hand. This technique is called Tehodoki which means hand release. Okay [INDISCERNIBLE] time so as [PH] Marian comes to punch, I will come and I will grab and then I will just drop to the floor, and she would fall.
