Ninja Weapons & Philosophy

On behalf of Expert Village my name is Anthony Lucas of the Bujinkan Koteki Dojo in New York City. Today I want to show the beginning techniques of ninjitsu. Ninjitsu we use many weapons we use long stick weapons, short stick weapons, we use of course the sword, which is common weapon in Japan and Japanese martial arts, we use projectiles which they're call shurikens you've thrown them, we use chain weapons, we use varies all kinds of weapons but most importantly is the jujitsu which is the art of using the body, that's unarm and once you've mastered jujitsu the art of using the body you'll advance to using the weapons and the weapons and body become one.
