Off Axis Pattern for Tie Dye Shirts
This technique is just like the cocentric circles technique except the axis is not in the middle of the shirt. Have all of your things handy, pinch your shirt, and apply a rubber band to the tip. Remember this should be very tight. Keep doing it all the way down. The tighter you make them, the better the effect on the shirt. Once you have rolled up all the shirts you plan to make and have everything handy and ready, dip it in the color of your choice. This technique looks great with one color, but since my orange is drying out, I’m going to mix it with the black. Ten minutes later we take it out and let it cool. Take all the rubber band off. Don’t forget to rinse them, hang them to dry and then iron at high temperature for longer lasting colors.
