Resume Tips for Job Interviews

Hello! This is Peggy Charlton for Expert Village talking about how to conduct a job interview effectively. My first thing I would like to tell you is the job actually begins way before you are actually go and sit down with your future employer you hope. You have to first figure out what kind of job you want. Pick a job that interests you. Look in the paper or want ads and see what is out there on the market. After you find a potential job, you are going to need to fill out an application. When you fill out an application, you must always do so neatly. If you can do it computer generated or typed, that is the best way to go because if an employer is looking at 20 applications here and 5 of them are horribly hand written, 5 of them are still messy and there are 10 that are excellent typed written, they are going to go with that and might not even consider you unless you have that application that is really done well. So I would type your application if at all possible or do it computer style or find an old typewriter and type it that way if you have to.
