How to Perform a Lunge with Knee Lift Leg Exercise

The next exercise we are going to do is a lunge with a knee lift and extension. So go ahead and place your right foot on the step. That foot stays in contact with the step the entire time. Navel to spine. You are going to inhale as you push up with that right heel, knee comes to the chest, extend, bend and come down into a lunge and inhale, exhale, bend and lower. Perfect. Always keep that knee in line with the ankle, extend, bend, foot comes back all the way into a lunge. Push with that top leg, extend, abs are tight and lower. Couple more. Knee lift, extend, bend and lower. One more time. Knee lift, extend, bend and lower into lunge. Step back off bench. Opposite foot comes on top. The leg that is doing the work is the leg on the step. So the left heel pushes into the step. Bend that knee, bring it up to your chest, extend, bend and lower. Good. Knee lift, extend, bend and lower. Good. Knee lift, extend, bend. Very good.
