So again work with the toes, you can pull on each toe and then squeeze the foot, that always feels good to the individual. Again, work the top of the foot as well, you don't want to just do the bottom, because the top is actually the reciprocal part of the bottom of the foot. So if we just kind of go in between the bone, you'll feel them and you just rub your fingers gently across the bones there, it feels really good. Here in the ankle area you just gently do some circular motions, but notice the direction that my fingers are going, again it's back towards the heart. So when I'm going back towards the heart this way, I apply more pressure. On my down stroke I ease up, so here there's more pressure, this way I ease up. So again, you want all of the pressure that you're applying towards the heart. When we're down here working on the foot, it's not as important, but if I can, again I try and push everything that I can back towards the heart. It just helps the veins do their job in terms of recirculating the blood back and so you work the back of the ankle, the heel area, the achilles tendon area, again just gently massaging. You want to make sure that you're supporting the leg, here I have a nice comfortable boaster underneath her knees and then with my hand I'm supporting her legs so she doesn't have any pressure on her knee per say. If you rub the heel area like I'm doing here, this is an area that's often neglected and one that people love to have massaged and so you can provide a lot of comfort and relief by working this area as well. Like I said through reflexology there's various spots on the foot that equate to different parts of the body and you might find that there's a tight spot on the foot and that could mean that there's another part of the body that is sore or it could be that just that spot on the foot is tender. But either way by doing this you're going to provide relief and relaxation for the person's whole being just by providing this passionate touch starting with the foot and it's a nice way to introduce yourself to the person's whole being. So after we've worked on the right foot for a while we'll again do the same thing with the left.
