Taking Pictures at Your Family Reunion
This is Peggy Charlton from Expert Village and I would like to talk to you about family reunions. One of the most important things that you can do for you family reunions to preserver your history of your reunion is to take pictures. You can either designate a photographer that is there or you can hire a photographer or you can all just take a whole bunch of pictures. It is very important though that you get a family portrait at everyones who attends and if you have it at one set place of year you put them on the wall and you have you know each year and you watch how the children grow. We had our family portrait in one of our cousins boyfriend was there and he took the picture and we had 25 people in a picture and it was great and it would be wonderful next year when we go back and we see how everyone has grown especially the little ones. Also a great idea is if you can preserve and make a scrap book. Every year of family and get one of your people to be your historian. A lot of time a retiree has a little more time then a normal person that is working and you can get a retire person and there job is to make a scrap book every year. You bring the scrap book and another thing with picture is you can bring all the family pictures, the ancestors pictures, sit around and talk about with your children, your grandchildren and the greats there. It is a great heritage thing I think family reunions things is your teaching the little ones how you ancestors where and they get that heritage of who they are and that is a wonderful thing.
