Make a Family Quilt at Your Reunion
I'm Peggy Charlton talking for Expert Village today on family reunions. Another idea would be a family reunion quilt this is a great idea for those people who know how to quilt or even if you don't you can learn I guess at your reunion. You get the measurement of the quilt and you tell the person to have a little block say 6 inches by 8 inches or whatever, 4x6 or whatever and do something you know Crayola on it or put markers on it, or needle point it or whatever and then you come together and then you build you quilt at the reunion and that is a really neat idea to preserve your family history. You might make it a heritage thing where you know there is just picking something from your ancestors from there side of the family or whatever but its a great tool a family reunion quilt. Perhaps if you wanted to do your quilt you can even have big squares and you can have different leaves pattern that the family represents. They put down they got the material they wanted on there leaves and put the quilt together like that so there are varies ways that you can do that on you quilts.
