How to Use a Lock Pick Gun
On behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm Jim Koch and today we are talking about how to gain entrance into your house when you've locked your keys inside or lost your keys. Now we are going to show you how to pick a lock with which is my more favorable way to pick a lock and that is a pick gun. A pick gun a slight impact to send the pins to the lock and in doing this, it causes the gap between the top and bottom pins to separate and that generally catches them at the sheer line. Basically you start out like you would with any other lock. You put your tension wrench in give it a very light amount of tension. You are going to insert your pick gun just below the pins. You don't want the pick gun to actually touch the pins and you just give it a couple little. If you don't get it at first after the first couple of clicks, what you want to do is take the tension off and move the lock back and what that is doing is resetting the pins and give it a few more and your lock is unlocked.
