Cut Onions for Shrimp Pasta Salad

Hi! I'm Karl James owner of Creole soul catering located in Round Rock, Texas on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you a shrimp pasta salad. Okay lets start cutting our onions and we want to do is dice this into small dices so we made some horizontal cuts in it and now we are making a few vertical cuts. The closer you make the cuts together the smaller the dices. So turn that and we would just start dicing our onion. We continue to dice it, I'm going to remove this to the side and just chop and get even some finer pieces of onions. You could use a shallot if you like a shallot has a slight cross between onion and garlic but here we are using just a regular brown onion. Get use some small dice and there we have our chopped onion and lets move on.
