Then there's a lot of decisions about things about how many watts. Most computers today come about an average of a 3 to 4 hundred watt power supply. Which is more than video cards. Perhaps you'd like to add second DVD drive and power a few other devices out of your USB ports. Maybe your power drive power needs a little more than average, or maybe your machine has been running just a little to hot. And actually a power supply with higher wattage can help in all those circumstances. So perhaps you decided you know I need much more power, power supply. You can get a nice 550 to 600 power watt power supply and if you get the professional series with duel rails and separated power things and extra quite fans there a little bit more expensive than the average power supply but they last long time, generally come with as much as 3 years. Of course if your into high end gaming and you want to run duel video cards then most manufactures are recommending 800 watts or more. Now that sounds like it's a lot and it is, but great 800 to 1100 watt power supply is available most anywhere that sales computer parts. We carry ones thats 800 watts here that run up to $260. So you can see versus a 40 or 50 dollar power supply it's a big investment. Make sure you know your needs before you make your decisions.
