Ways to Lose a Game of Eight-Ball: Part 2

This is Richard with expertvillage.com with a few other ways that you can possibly lose a game of 8 ball. Another way to lose a game of 8 ball is if the 8 ball falls off the table, lands on the floor. Any other object ball that falls on the floor is re-spotted, but if the 8 ball lands up on the floor is considered a loss of game. If you're shooting at the 8 ball and you make it in the wrong pocket, you designate a certain pocket for the 8 ball to fall in, 8 ball doesn't get to that pocket but inadvertently falls into a different pocket, that would be considered a loss of game. A third way to lose a game is if you're shooting at the 8 ball, you make the 8 ball but during your stroke you commit a fall, then committing a fall during the execution of making the 8 ball, that would be considered a lose of game. That can occur with a double hit on a cue ball or your cue ball coming in contact with your hand or with any part of the stick other than the tip and anything like that would happen during your stroke, then that would be considered a fall but if the 8 ball does happen to fall in then that's also going to be considered a loss of game.
