Tae Kwon Do Side Kick & Reverse Spinning Hook Kick Combination

Hi this is Aaron Fruitstone from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. And on behalf of ExpertVillage.com, we welcome you. The segments that you’ll be seeing today are advanced Tae Kwon Do techniques, predominantly sparring offensive techniques. Now make sure that you breakdown the movements similar to the way that we do. Everything that I will be doing will be reversed so that you will see, if I put my right side behind, when you’re practicing, put your left side behind. The first technique will be known as turning kick-reverse hook-turning kick. It’s a great offensive technique to get your opponent off balance because there’s a lot of stuff coming from different directions. And the way it’s going to work, you’re going to bring the left knee up, rotate it towards your opponent, your leg will go out and in, put the foot down next to your opposite foot, looking over your shoulder, draw the leg out, hooking and back out. And then you’ll return. At medium speed. And at full speed.
