Sharing Information with Preschool Teachers

Hi I’m Ann and we’re here to talk about sharing information with his preschool teacher. This is an important thing that must be done to make and ensure for a successful school year. The best way to relay and to share information with the teacher is to make sure you fill out all of those emergency forms. All those cards that you get from school in the beginning of the year are important to fill out and to be done with care. Make sure all the information is accurate and that you’re truthful with the questions that are being asked, it makes for an easier job for the teacher to know your student, to know your child and be successful with him or her. An example of that is if there’s any medical history that you need to share that will help the teacher better understand any care that needs to be taken with the child, again you want to make sure all medications are put on the card so the teacher is fully aware of any medical or psychological conditions that would effect learning within the classroom. And this also will help the teacher better able to approach discipline with understanding, care and love. Again information is important to share with the school. Something else that you can do is to pop in and talk and visit with the teacher, a good day to usually do this is on a Friday. Many of times that’s an opportunity for parents to come in and ask questions or to just simply sit down and chat with the teacher. I hope all of this is useful and that will come in handy during the school year.
