The next exercise we’re going to do is called crunch and curl. Go ahead and lie on your back. Bring your knees into your chest, both hands are going to come behind your head, just to support your head be sure that you don’t pull on your neck. So slightly lift those elbows off of the floor, navel to spine. You’re going to inhale, think about drawing your forehead to your knees. Lift the shoulder blades off of the floor, exhale and extend up. Inhale curl in, exhale extend up. Good inhale and exhale. Good inhale and exhale. For more of a challenge, if you need to challenge yourself a bit more, your knees are going to come into your chest – inhale, exhale extend straight out in front of you and be sure that back does not arch. And exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Very good. Keep in mind that your head does not come completely on the floor, your abdominals remain engaged throughout the exercise and then once you’re done, you can drop everything and relax. Very good.
