How to Melt a Witch Science Project

Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village. Lets watch what happens when Welcoe dips the witches feet into the water. Put the scorer across the mouth of the jar so the witches feet is just sticking into the jar of water and lets see what happens. This is what happens the filer paper soaks up the water and as the water moves up the filer paper it dissolves the ink colors will appear as the ink dissolves and separates. This shows that black ink is not just black ink. It's actually made from several different colors. Try this experiment with other colors and see what happens. After about five minutes take it out and see what happend. You can see all different colors that come out of the black ink. I see blue, green, purple, brown and even a little of red.
