Ingredients for Melting a Witch Science Project

Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village lets do the melting witch experiment Welcoe is going to show us how. What we need is water, a glass, or a jar, this one we got from the recycle bin, a pair of scissors, a wooden scorer, a set of water solidable felt tip markers, make sure you have a black one and a paper coffee filter. Lets start can you pour about a half inch of water into the jar. Cut your coffee filter in about 4" x 1". Make sure its not to wide to fit in the mouth of the jar. Separate it so that you'll have on layer, put other layer to the side you can use the other half later. Put everything out of the way. Now i would like you to get a black marker and draw a witch on that filter paper, you want to a draw a stick figure witch on the filter paper and only draw quickly and only a stick figure so cause you don't want to soak up to much of the ink. That's a great witch. Now your going to poke a whole with scorer on top of the paper and measure against the jar so just the feet of the witch will be sticking in the water. Ok poke a whole. Now were ready to deep the witches feet into the water.
