How to Repair a Doorknob Hole with Primer & Paint

Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I will be taking you through our procedure for priming and painting our wall. Now the reasoning we are priming the wall first is that it would help it inherit a little bit better to the wall in addition it would help make that transition to our new paint to our paint a little smoother. So I have my primer on my roller here and I'm going to cover the entire area that I sanded. After our primer has dried we are going to follow the same procedure in using that small roller and we are going to give it a nice coat of paint making sure to go a little bit beyond that primer.
